Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of KaiTerm, including the desktop app, the KaiTerm website, account services, and KaiTerm Pro subscription features.
Use of KaiTerm
You may use KaiTerm to manage terminal sessions, connection profiles, local backups, encrypted sync, and other supported workflows. You are responsible for the systems you connect to, the credentials you store, and the commands you run.
Accounts and Pro
KaiTerm Pro features require an account and an active subscription. You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your email secure. Pro access may be disabled if a subscription expires, is canceled, is refunded, or if account abuse is detected.
Payments
Subscriptions are billed through Paddle. Paddle may act as merchant of record or payment processor and may provide checkout, tax, payment, invoice, and refund handling. Prices and billing intervals are shown before checkout.
Acceptable Use
You may not use KaiTerm or its services to compromise systems, evade access controls, distribute malware, overload the service, or violate applicable law. You may not attempt to reverse engineer hosted service protections or bypass Pro entitlement checks.
Availability
KaiTerm is provided on an as-available basis. Local app features may work without the account service, while Pro account, checkout, and sync features depend on hosted systems and third-party providers.
Changes
KaiTerm may change features, pricing, or these terms over time. Material changes will be reflected on this page. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
Contact
For support, billing, or legal questions, contact the support email configured in KaiTerm account emails or use the issue tracker linked from the website.
